Making a Home More Comfortable in Greenfield, MA

Challenge

This home owner in Greenfield, MA called us out to there home to see if we could help make it more comfortable. When our building science specialist got to the home, he notice on his inspection that the attic was not properly insulated. This was letting the air they pay to heat and cool escape into the attic and be lost forever. 

Solution

To fix this we must properly insulated the attic space. For this project we dense packed the attic ceiling with our TruSoft cellulose. To do this first we staple up insuwebb on the rafters. Then we cut a small hole in every bay. Once we do that we can dense pack each and every bay. The last step in this process is to roll the dense packed cellulose in every bay so it sits flush with the raters. This is important so if the home owner ever wanted to finish this space, it will be easy to Sheetrock. 

Now that Dr. Energy Saver by Eco Energy Solutions has came and finished this treatment, this home owner can now live more comfortably in his own home!
