Protecting a Basement from Floods in Wethersfield, CT

This homeowner in Wethersfield, CT called us when she was having issues with her basement flooding. Unfortunately for this homeowner, the slope of the lawn meant that there was water pouring directly toward her home -- it simply just seeped through any crack it could! Solution
Our team helped this customer by installing our TripleSafe™ sump pump system in her basement. After removing a section of sheetrock that was blocking the correct drainage area, we began by jackhammering the spot that the sump pump needed to go in, so that it met the correct requirements to be installed. We then worked on installing the drainage pipes to angle the water away from the home. Once those were installed, we placed the sump pump in the pit, connecting it to the electrical system. The second is a 1/2 hp AC back-up pump, which pumps up to 3,900 gallons per hour on a separate discharge line.
