This homeowner was experiencing a problem with freezing pipes. The pipes ran through a vented crawl space which left the pipes exposed to cold, harsh winter conditions. We installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation System with Drainage Matting, TerraBlock Floor Insulation and SilverGlo insulation on the walls to resolve this homeowner's issue. This homeowner will not have to worry about pipes freezing even in the harshest winters!

Clean and level Crawl Space

Before our Team could begin the installation, they had to clean out the Crawl Space and level the dirt floor. This Crawl Space is now ready for the installation of our CleanSpace Encapsulation System!

Drainage Matting installed in Crawl Space

First, our team installed dimpled plastic drainage matting across the floor to create an airspace and thermal break.

TerraBlock Floor Insulation Installed

Next, our Team installed our TerraBlock Floor Insulation. TerraBlock is a 3/4" flexible, foam insulation with a vapor barrier on both sides. It adds R-value and is puncture resistant.

CleanSpace Encapsulation System Installed

After our Team installed the TerraBlock floor insulation, they installed our SilverGlo insulation on the walls. SilverGlo is foam insulation with graphite infused into the foam to increase the R-value by 24% over standard foam. The rim joist was air sealed and insulated using our two part expanding spray foam. Finally, our heavy duty, 20 mil thick CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation liner was permanently installed. This happy homeowner will no longer have to worry about pipes freezing in even the harshest of winters!
