Insulating Crawl Space in Lebanon, CT

Problem:
This homeowner had an animal problem at once. The animals ate away at the insulation making their home, not energy efficient at all. The homeowner contacted us to do a full crawl space remodel of the Dr. Energy saver way. The insulation was worn and all torn up, Top of the crawl space had cracks and areas where the air was sneaking in. This resulted in higher energy/fuel bills for the homeowner which we were gladly capable and ready to fix.
Solution
Solution:
Our solution is a simple but effective way to keep your home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This process includes spraying the spray foam on the rim joists of the crawl space ceiling. These rim joists are the perimeter of the floor framing system along the exterior of the house. With the spray foam installed it seals all the leaks that previously were in the home. Next, the team sealed up the sides of the crawlspace with Foamax boards. These boards are nice thick fire retardant boards that help with insulation. These boards are double protected from any outside air that wants to sneak in. This completely seals off the outside from the inside. Making the home we just installed them with a more comfortable and livable home. Also not to forget a more energy-efficient home, making the homeowner spend less on energy/fuel bills
