The first step in encapsulating a crawlspace is to clear it out of all debris.

The next step is to put down a drainage mat so if any humidity come up from the dirt, the water can run between the mat and the dirt and not into our homes. We also put 2 inch silverglo on the walls for conduction value.

The final steps are to lay down terrablock insulation to help insulate the space. After that we put down our 20ml thick crawlspace vapor barrier. This allow us to get an air tight seal to keep all of the unwanted outside entities from getting into the home and into the air you breathe. The final thing to do is spray the rim joist with our two part expanding spray foam to stop the the of the unwanted dust, allergens, and humidity from getting in the home. Now the space is encapsulated and treated properly and will not give homeowners any more problems.
