Making a Home More Energy Efficient in Shrewsbury MA

This homeowner in Shrewsbury, MA called us to their home for an energy evaluation. when we reached the attic portion of our whole home evaluation we noticed very old inefficient fiberglass insulation. 

 

To help this home become more energy efficient and make these homeowners more comfortable in their home we knew what we had to do. We removed all the old inefficient fiberglass insulation and vacuumed up all of the remains and debris. Then we property bagged and removed the material from the attic. Now, we are able to seal up all of the top plates with foam and get to our next step. We blow in our cellulose insulation which covers and fills in all odd shaped voids and gaps. We even built an insulated storage area.
