Insulation Services Photo Album: Upgrading an attic in Lenox, MA

This homeowner in Lenox, MA had quite the mess of an attic. In this album, you can clearly see how insulation was haphazardly thrown around with minimal air sealing under it all. We pulled out the old batts of insulation and vacuumed out the remaining small pieces and dust. We then sealed any seams or holes in the attic floor to stop the convective flow of warm air from the inside of the home up and out through the attic. Lastly, we blew in our TruSoft cellulose to the optimum insulation value.
