Windows & Doors Photo Album: Insulating a Bay Window in Westfield, MA
Rooms in this home were cold and drafty in the winter. The homeowners in Westfield, MA wanted to make their rooms more comfortable and eliminate the drafts. Our Building Science Expert determined an improperly insulated bay windows was a sources of the drafts. Our team went in and removed the plywood on the underside of the window. Once the plywood was removed, we foamed to prevent air leaks. We installed our SilverGlo foam insulation board to properly insulate this window.
