When this homeowner in West Springfield, MA called us, it was in regards to a special request. She wanted to make a home movie theater in the basement for her husband. Of course, Fogarty's Home Services was up to the task.
When we arrived, we were met with a semi-finished basement. In the area that they wanted to put the home theater, all you can really see were the bare concrete floors, gray walls, and a projector screen.
Luckily, our team was able to put in modular, ThermalDry™ plank flooring. In order to keep this as dark as possible, they chose the darkest possible color -- espresso. The flooring is waterproof and easy to clean, meaning that if someone spills soda, it will be okay. We also were able to install black linen drop ceiling tiles to complete the look.
This is no longer a bare, cold room -- it has turned into a theater that their family will be able to utilize for decades, and is something that will add value to their home.
This Northampton, MA homeowner reached out to Fogarty's Home Services to update their basement from a bare and uninviting space into a beautiful, comfortable living space. We provided an excellent solution to the our homeowner. This previously uninsulated, neglected space and turned it into a a more energy efficient area of the home that can be fully furnished and used to exponentially increase the living area in the home without adding an addition. Not only did we finish our homeowner's basement to their desired results, but we also delivered a beautiful finished product that they can be proud to show off for years to come. This space went "From Basement to Beautiful"!
This homeowner in Plymouth, CT contacted us with concerns about leaky windows. Badly installed, old, or just plain leaky windows with poor insulation let air you pay to heat seep OUT in the winter as well as the intense heat of the sun come IN during the summer.
Our Sunrise Windows coupled with injected foam keep drafts out for good. We remove the old window and install our new ones! We then finish with wood or decorative plastic wainscoting to keep the home beautiful inside and out!
