Snow Melt in Millbury, MA

This homeowner in Millbury, MA called us out to their home to update their attic insulation. Due to having inefficient insulation they were experiencing snow melt on the roof! Some spots were too hot and others were too cold. This home was insulated with old fiberglass insulation, which does not stop airflow!

We know we needed to remove all of the old, inefficient fiberglass insulation in this knee wall space. We bag up and properly dispose of the materials and move on to installing our SilverGlo! We install our blocks of Silverglo foam insulation board between the ceiling joist bays, and under the rafters. Around the blocks are air sealed with foam. Now, inside air is not able to escape out of the home and outside air is not able to enter!

Thanks to Dr. Energy Saver by Eco Energy Solutions this home is more comfortable, energy-efficient, and no longer has snow melt!

Insulweb Installation in Rocky Hill, CT

This customer purchased a home built in 1860.  They gutted the entire home to do major renovations.  Our team came in to ensure the home was properly insulated.  Once the walls were down to the studs, we put up Insulweb and dense packed every wall with cellulose to make the home more comfortable and energy efficient.

Properly Venting a Bathroom Fan in Salem, CT

This bathroom fan was being vented directly into the attic.  All the warm humid air from the bathroom was going into the attic which can cause mold.  Our team went in and properly vented the moisture outside through the roof using our insulated duct work.  This homeowner no longer has to worry about mold issues in the attic.

Installing a Bath Fan in Coventry, CT

These home owners in Coventry, CT called us because they had a moisture problem in their bathroom. Humidity in home is a problem across the country but especially in bathrooms. When home don't have bath fans to get the humidity out after a hot shower, the moisture gets trapped in the sheet rock and will start to grow mold. To stop this from happening we installed a quiet but effective bath fan. We took out the older fan and cut the hole bigger to put our new bath fan in. Last thing to do is to vent the fan out of the home. It's very important to do this and not just to dump the air in the attic because mold will start to grow up there. Now that the new fan is installed and properly vented out, these home owners will not longer have moisture issues in there bathroom!

Reducing Water in a Basement in Durham, CT

This home owner in Durham, CT called us out to see what we could do about the water problem in her home. When we got down to the basement we noticed that there was no sump pump! Water collecting in pools on the floor with nowhere to go. To fix this, we installed our Super sump sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. Water travels down hill so all the water will run down to the low point in the basement. We then pump the water out through the sump pump and out into the yard with our lawnscape attachment. Now this home owner does not have to worry about water sitting in her basement ever again!
